Your Creative Genius
Nelson Mandela once said, " Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure."
Let me ask you a question-
How would your life change if you truly believed that you were powerful beyond measure? What does this statement mean to you ? Or does it scare you - more than a little probably.
We as individuals are not accustomed to feeling powerful in positive non-aggressive ways. Perhaps, most especially, as women we have been taught by experience that we are without power, personally or professionally. Creative power is then quite rare.
Oh, there are some amazing women who have flown in the face of conformity. Bless Them! There are those women who have become outstandingly creative in science, theatre, music, art, medicine, media and all types of business. We know their names, we are fascinated by their stories, and we have a secret little twinge of envy....be honest, we all do.
But what about YOU, what about YOUR story, what about YOUR spark of creativity - your personal Creative Genius.
Each of us is born a "genius", we just forget it as we grow up. We are each the genius of our own lives, of our own minds. Within each of us is a special "spark", a piece of the Creator's own Spirit. Whatever your beliefs are about the Creator, or God, those are yours to hold, or not, as you choose.
We are made in the image of our Creator, thus we have within us a piece of the whole, a piece of that Genius. It is part of our personality, it is one-of-a-kind, unique. Without each one of us, the World would be less.
